CRO and landing pages for Australian Shopify stores

We fix the offer before we buy the traffic. Then we build the pages your ads land on, take the friction out of the checkout and judge every change on the orders your store actually takes.

20c Rick Grant's customers built baskets to within 20 cents of the A$135 free-shipping line (first four days on the rebuilt store, Aug 2026). Case study result. Outcomes vary.

Nuracom. A product page that answers price, trust and delivery before the first scroll: Google rating, Afterpay, add-ons, warranty and returns.

Offer first

Fix the offer before you buy the traffic.

Rick Grant's best seller is a gluten free scone mix that sells for A$8.85. On its own, one pack can't pay for the ad that found the buyer, let alone the postage.

So before we sent a dollar of traffic to the rebuilt store, we built it around the basket. We made bundles of the proven sellers and priced them so the saving was real. We added per-serve pricing, so a shopper sees what each scone costs rather than just the pack price. And we set a free-shipping line, with a meter in the cart showing how close you are.

In the first four days on the new store, with no ads running at all, the average order came in at the figure on the card. Some customers built their baskets to finish just over the free-shipping line. That's the offer doing the selling, before a cent of ad spend.

Where the orders are

Where we find more orders

More orders, and bigger ones, from visitors you already pay for. We work roughly in this order, because the first items usually pay the most.

  • Offer, bundles and pricing

Bundles from what already sells, honest compare-at prices, and per-serve pricing when the pack price hides the value.

  • A free-shipping threshold

Set from your real average order and postage, with a cart meter. Our free-shipping guide has the maths.

  • Landing pages for paid traffic

One page per ad angle, carrying the ad's promise on and answering a cold buyer's questions before the button.

  • Product pages

Reviews under the buy button, finance, delivery and returns in plain words, and your ad comments answered on the page.

  • Checkout friction

Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Afterpay and no postage surprise at the last step. When Shopify's defaults get in the way, we write custom checkout rules.

  • Speed and the phone layout

Heavy apps and oversized images come out, and the buy button stays within reach of a thumb.

  • Tracking you can test against

Pixel and Conversions API checked against real orders, so tests get read on true numbers.

  • Testing on real traffic

One change at a time on the traffic your ads already buy, judged on orders in Shopify.

Landing pages

A page built for one ad, and one job.

Cold traffic from Meta doesn't know you yet. Send it to your home page and it has to find its own way. A lander picks up exactly where the ad left off.

Nuracom sells an automated ceiling laundry rack most Australians had never seen, at a price nobody pays on impulse. The lander we built for their Meta ads follows a first-time buyer's questions in order, and only asks for the sale once the big ones are answered.

Every lander we build works the same way: the headline matches the ad, the proof sits next to the claim, and there's one thing to do.

How we launched Nuracom

The Nuracom lander, top to bottom

Above the fold

The ad's angle, carried straight on

Same idea as the ad for the headline, the rack shown in a home, and their Google rating right beside it.

First scroll

The everyday problem, in the buyer's words

The laundry frustrations people already have, named plainly so the reader recognises their own week.

Middle

How it installs

The question that stops most buyers, answered before they have to ask it.

Bottom

The range, the warranty, then the ask

The models side by side and the warranty spelled out, with the buy buttons last.

Testing

Tested on the orders your store takes.

Most Australian stores don't have the traffic for textbook split tests, where you wait weeks for a statistically clean answer about a button.

So we make bigger, clearer changes, one at a time, on the traffic your Meta ads already buy: a new bundle, a different threshold, a lander instead of the product page. Then we read the result in Shopify, with the ad spend alongside.

You see the same numbers we do. If a change doesn't move the store, it comes out, and we tell you why.

Why the store gets the final say

A pixel can count the same order twice, or count a test order as a sale. Judge a test on the pixel and you can crown a winner that never sold anything, so we read every test in Shopify. How we reconcile the two.

What does CRO actually mean for an online store?

Conversion rate optimisation: more orders, and bigger ones, from the visitors you already have. For most Shopify stores that starts with the offer, the product page and the checkout, well before button colours.

Should I offer free shipping, and where should the line sit?

Usually yes, with the threshold set a little above your current average order so people add one more item to reach it, and low enough that the postage still works on your margin. Our free-shipping guide has the method, and the break-even calculator shows what a first order can afford to spend on ads.

Do I need a lot of traffic to run tests?

Not for the way we test. We make bigger changes one at a time and read them in Shopify against a like-for-like period, with the ad spend alongside. Big wins show up quickly, and tiny tweaks usually aren't worth testing at that size.

Should my ads go to a landing page or a product page?

Both have a place. A product people already understand can go straight to its product page. Something new, expensive or that needs explaining usually does better on a lander that carries the ad's angle through and answers the objections first. We test it on your account and let the orders decide.

Do I need a new store before you can start?

Not usually. Plenty of CRO work happens inside your current Shopify theme. If the store itself is holding you back, the free audit says so plainly and we quote a rebuild as a separate fixed price.

How do you know if a change worked?

In Shopify: orders, average order value, conversion rate and revenue per visitor over a like-for-like window, with the ad spend next to it. The ad dashboard is a second opinion.
